Dario Breitel
Dario Breitel, PhD is the CTO of Kokomodo, a foodtech and climate-tech company developing cell-cultured cacao to address the growing instability of global cacao supply chains. Kokomodo is introducing a novel approach to one of the world’s most beloved ingredients. With over 10 years of scientific experience, Dario has focused on developing platforms for launching products in the fields of molecular biology, cellular agriculture and plant growth. He worked as a team leader and product development in the UK and Israel, modifying metabolic pathways in plants and in cell cultures. He holds a PhD in biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and completed a postdoc at the John Innes Centre (UK).
