Jose Carlos Garcia-Garcia
Dr. Jose Carlos Garcia-Garcia is a Senior Director and Research Fellow at Procter & Gamble, where he leads Corporate Biotechnology efforts within the Transformative Technology Platform (TPT) organization. Originally from Cuba, Dr. Garcia-Garcia earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences as a Howard Hughes Predoctoral Fellow and completed his postdoctoral studies at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he later served as an Assistant Professor. In 2010, when the TPT program was launched at P&G, Dr. Garcia-Garcia recognized a significant opportunity to leverage his passion for applied research to enhance consumer health and wellness. He continues to lead biotechnology-enabled innovation at P&G, focusing on projects that promote consumer well-being and environmental health.
